TRADITIONAL THAI MASSAGE CLASS FROM OVA?
 Because Ova has studied several times with revered, Master Thai Massage Teacher, Pichet Boonthumme, in Hang Dong, Chiang Mai Province, Thailand, who emphasizes the importance of being exact in one’s Body Mechanics to not only give a more effective stretch, but also to make it Easy on the Therapist’s Body.
The client receives a better stretch because the therapist is not straining, but instead using her/his body weight effectively.
Thus no tension is passed between massage therapist to client because she/he stays relaxed and in her/his center.
If the massage therapist stays relaxed, breathing, and using correct body mechanics, then the massage is like a good yoga session for the therapist as well as the client.
Ova has studied various ways of achieving the same excellent results on bodies of different types of clients with different mobility restrictions, and the creative styles of stretches of Pichet Boonthumme.
As Pichet is always saying, “Sensing is so important. Be sensitive to the client, touch sensitively.”
Promoting mindfulness throughout the entire session requires relaxed sensitivity with focused intention. Ova will demonstrate how to avoid the pitfalls of aggravating or stressing the condition that is presenting, while sensitively facilitating release.
